Lioele: Dollish Lipstick in Madonna Red Review

Bloody hell! It has been two weeks! I was so busy writing Christmas-themed articles for the sites I work for and by the time I was able to get some air, Christmas had already gone by. I'm pretty much indifferent during the holidays, for 5 consecutive years my Christmases have been awfully dry. This year was pretty much the same. Meh. Moving on . . .

Lioele says:

The Lioele Dollish Lipstick is an elegant and feminine lipstick that does not only look great but also contains moisturizing ingredients that can retain moisture in lips and prevent lips from chapping long-lasting texture, so you don't have to continually reapply it. What's even better? These lipsticks are super pigmented so that you won't have to apply multiple layers. The casing is a matte black that looks luxurious no matter where you store it!

I purchased the color Madonna Red 10. This product retails at around 580PHP ($14.5) and can be bought at Lioele boutiques in the PH.

This is a single swipe swatch of the lipstick. It is rich, creamy and highly pigmented

My take on this product . . .
This lipstick is highly pigmented, creamy, easy to apply and long-lasting. It has a very luxurious shine to it, you wouldn't be needing lipgloss. A good lip liner is a must because it does smudge around the edges of your lips. I have a little issue with its 'crayon-like' scent as it can be overwhelming at times.

Would I recommend it?

Yes. It looks gorgeous on my lips! Will definitely try more Dollish Lipsticks.

Would I re-purchase?

Maybe. I indubitably love this product, but as of the moment, I would like to try out different brands and shades in matte.

Tony Moly: TomatoX Magic White Massage Pack Review

It has arrived! This is Tony Moly's debut on my blog. Though Tony Moly has been in the Philippines for quite some time now, it never really caught my eye but given the chance I would like to try their egg-based products. Now on to the review:

The product says:

"Containing Tomato extracted water and Tomato ingredients, this multi-functional massage & pack bring dual magic brightening & vitalizing & detoxifying effect into the skin."

Tomatox comes in a tomato shaped container placed in a plastic box with an illustration of its usage and instructions - with the list of ingredients - written in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English! Huge plus for me knowing that they do care about their foreign consumers.

The product is massaged onto the (cleansed) face for 1-2 minutes and left on as a mask, and then rinsed after 5-10 minutes.

It is of a white, thick and creamy consistency and smells very sweet. It also has a mini spatula for hygienic purposes.

My take on this product . . .
I love how well made the packaging is and the attention to detail. The scent is not offensive in any way and the mini spatula was a sweet TLC touch. There is also an immediate skin brightening/lightening effect, my face looked 1-2 shades lighter after I washed off the mask. Unfortunately, this effect is temporary.

I also experienced some slight stinging within the first 2 minutes of application. Very minimal and tolerable. I really don't mind heat and stinging because I do love self-heating masks

I was using this product for a week until I noticed tiny red pustules appearing all over my face! Pretty much like tiny pimples but they never grew, and disapeared within a few days. I tried it again on another instance and the same thing happened again. :(

Would I recommend it?
No, but once again, what doesn't work for me, might work for you.  I might have loved this product if it didn't break me out.
Would I re-purchase?
No

Price:
This item is sold at Tony Moly stores and is available locally. It is sold online at around 720PHP ($18USD)

Life Post: Getting a cold without mum

When I was around 6 years old, I had an extremely realistic dream of riding a ginormous elephant (it was roughly 4x bigger) during a street parade. There were many people singing, blowing horns and lighting fireworks. It was such a pleasant dream that I woke up wanting to tell my mother all about it. She was hovering over me, giving me a sponge bath.

I was running a 104 degrees fever on New Year's Eve.

Here I am 20 years old, with a common cold, slight fever and missing my mum. (Don't worry, she's still around :))

I ate tasteless porridge the entire Sunday. And I ate tasteless chicken noodle soup today. I also made a bowl of fruit salad, which I could hardly taste. I checked my e-mail and saw that one of my online employers has sent me the guidelines and topics I should work on, starting TODAY till the end of the year. I was a bit lost since they needed new and fresh material, with photos, and I barely have the (tangible) material I need today so I decided to just relax, lounge around and light a scented candle when I saw this . . .

ERMEERGEEERD!!! I WANT BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE! But being unable to taste a thing, the craving passed until I lit the candle . . .

THE SCENT IS SO STRONG YOU CAN ACTUALLY TASTE IT! JEEEEEEEEZ!!!

So here I am, with a cold, and a fever, missing my mum, lagging behind work, eating bland porridge and craving for blueberry cheescake.

Stay healthy and have a productive week ahead,
DianeShishio

P.S. The following day my mum, who isn't my facebook friend, who has not seen my blog ( and the blog post I wrote last night) and who doesn't even know that I've been sick, dropped by this morning to bring me some of her chicken and potato nuggets. Stuff that would make me ignore rice, just so I could eat more. I wub my mum :3
